The city of Huelva is set to host the second edition of the Atlántica Festival on April 10 and 11, an event that will transform the capital of Huelva into a meeting point for lovers of fantasy, science fiction, and horror literature.

Driven by the Fundación Cajasol and coordinated by the Asociación Literaria Onubense Atlántica, the festival will take place at Sala El Comercial. Its program blends literature, art, and various cultural experiences, solidifying Huelva as a benchmark in the narrative and creation of imaginary genres.
Among the featured participants is Aránzazu Serrano, who will join a discussion on epic fantasy. The program also includes round tables and activities with authors such as Eva Amuedo, Gemma Solsona, Ángeles Mora, Jesús Relinque, and Celia Corral, fostering dialogue on the many facets of fantastic literature.
The event will explore local folklore with illustrator and writer Javier Prado, who will give a talk on monsters and creatures from Huelva's tradition, connecting with the mythological roots of the territory. The cultural offering is enriched with innovative proposals such as a live podcast by Windumanoth, signing sessions, public encounters, and experiences like the “Huelva Misteriosa” route or a wine and literature pairing tasting in collaboration with Bodegas Contreras Ruiz.
Furthermore, the festival will host the final of the I Micro-story Contest, which will feature a reading marathon open to the public, emphasizing the participatory nature and commitment to creativity and interaction. With this second edition, the Atlántica Festival strengthens its growth and its ambition to become an Ibero-American reference for fantastic literature, inviting attendees to explore new worlds without leaving Huelva.
