The ceremony, hosted at the FOE headquarters, saw significant attendance from institutional authorities, representatives of the State Security Forces and Corps, and members of the Habecu Huelva board of directors. This notable presence underscored the social and institutional support for the association's work and the values it upholds.

During the opening remarks, José Luis García-Palacios, president of the FOE, highlighted the profound meaning of the association as a space for recognition and connection with the Guardia Civil. He also praised the award-winning student, Lucía Pardo Iglesias, for her academic journey, emphasizing the culture of effort represented by her 9.98 average grade in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO).
A key moment of the event was the induction of six new members into Habecu Huelva: Juan José Toscano Rodríguez, Miguel Ángel Huertas Dionisio, Miguel Ángel Navarro Jiménez, Francisco Díaz Alamillo, Francisco Javier Mateo Pico, and Luis Bermúdez Martín. The ceremony emphasized the commitment and connection of these new members to the entity's principles.
The secretary of Habecu Huelva, Daniel Toscano, read the minutes of the agreement to grant the Academic Excellence Award, adopted on November 7, 2025. This award, consisting of a diploma and 1,000 euros, was made possible by the support of the Fundación Caja Rural del Sur and the Fundación Atlantic Copper. Lucía Pardo Iglesias, a student at IES Delgado Hernández in Bollullos Par del Condado and daughter of civil guard Miguel Ángel Pardo Ferreira, expressed her gratitude for the recognition and the encouragement such initiatives provide to young people.

The mayor of Bollullos Par del Condado, Rubén Rodríguez Camacho, congratulated Lucía, highlighting her as a role model for the town. Meanwhile, José Manuel Moreno, councilor for Citizen Security of the Huelva City Council, emphasized the student's personal merit and the daily work of the Guardia Civil. The delegate of Employment of the Junta de Andalucía, Juan Carlos Duarte, highly valued the association's role and the awardee's academic record, assuring that her grade is a “guarantee of success”.
The chief colonel of the Guardia Civil Command, Julio Serrano, underscored the human and collective value embodied by Habecu Huelva, comparing the brotherhood to a treasure. The event concluded with the performance of the Guardia Civil Anthem, a solemn closing that celebrated excellence, commitment, and public service values.
