This unique event, scheduled for Saturday, April 18, promises a blend of culture, history, and entertainment. For the day, Cartaya will cease to be just a beach destination and will become a corsair stage, where pirate aesthetics will envelop every corner, making visitors feel part of the adventure.
The municipal initiative aims to recreate the spirit of exchange between neighboring territories, Spain and Portugal, using gastronomy as a universal language. Meat will be the main protagonist of this event, designed for all audiences, and will include an open food bar from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The council's proposal seeks to recreate that spirit of exchange between neighboring territories, Spain and Portugal, through one of their most universal languages, cuisine.
The festival's program will feature cultural and historical nods for an immersive experience. There will be a pirate-themed restaurant, various gastronomic proposals, showcookings, live music, themed entertainment, fire shows, workshops, and family activities.
This major event will take place between La Ribera and the Castillo de los Zúñiga. Tickets can be purchased at the venue or through its website, with prices ranging from 20 euros for those over 11 years old, 10 euros for children between 7 and 11 years old, and free admission for children under 7 years old.
The organizers recommend attendees bring a pirate accessory, such as a bandana, patch, or hat, to fully immerse themselves in the festival's theme and further enjoy the adventure.
