Those interested in participating in Huelva's Autumn and Horse Fair can now manage their booth licenses. The deadline for submitting applications, whether for renewal or new allocation, is May 31st. The process can be completed through the municipal electronic headquarters, making it easier for citizens.
The call is governed by the Regulatory Ordinance of the Autumn and Horse Fair, a document that details the procedure for granting temporary booth usage licenses in the fairgrounds. This ordinance is available for consultation on the municipal website, www.huelva.es, in the agenda section.
Both habitual booth holders wishing to renew their license and individuals, non-profit citizen entities, public administrations, and public companies interested in a new allocation can submit an application. The ordinance outlines four application modalities, including the renewal of traditional booths, the first application for private booths (requiring the signature of three holders without consanguinity or affinity up to the third degree), the renewal of private booth applications that were not previously allocated, and applications from non-profit entities, administrations, and public companies.
For new private booth applications, in addition to the signature of the three holders, the endorsement of at least twenty members linked to an equestrian entity or association is required. These entities must be registered in the Municipal Register of Non-Profit Citizen Entities of the Huelva City Council, and their affiliation must be expressly stated in their statutes. Membership status must be accredited by a certificate issued by the secretariat of the corresponding equestrian association.
Non-profit citizen entities applying for a booth must be registered in the municipal register with a minimum seniority of three years and submit a justifying report of activities effectively carried out in the municipality during the previous twelve months. Applications must be formalized using the specific forms provided by the Huelva City Council, available for download on the municipal website. Each booth must be identified with a name chosen by its holders, in line with the idiosyncrasy of the Fair.
The City Council has reminded that applications submitted after the deadline will be ineffective. For traditional holders, this would imply renouncing the ownership of the booth granted in previous years, while for new applications, it would mean losing recognized seniority for future allocations.
Once the application period concludes, the Advisory Commission of the Autumn and Horse Fair will evaluate the applications and submit an allocation proposal to the competent municipal body, after verifying compliance with all established requirements. The list of successful applicants will subsequently be published on the notice board and the municipal website, opening a ten-day period for submitting appeals.
