Sources from the Popular Party of Huelva have stressed that investment in public services has been higher in the last seven years compared to previous administrations. Improvements in health, education, dependency care, employment, and public housing have been cited as examples, all considered of great interest to Andalusian citizens.
In the health sector, investment per inhabitant has risen from 1,169 euros in 2018 to 1,887 euros in 2026. Furthermore, the number of healthcare professionals in the autonomous community has grown from 75,710 in 2018 to 105,068, representing an increase of over 38%. In education, there has been an increase of 7,301 professionals since 2018, reaching a total of 108,369, and 636 million euros have been allocated to diversity care, an 87% increase compared to 2018.
“"A clear example of the commitment to public education is the new public educational center CEIP Muelle del Tinto, a historical demand in the capital since there was no public school in the center of Huelva before."
Regarding dependency care, waiting times in Andalusia have been reduced by more than two years, decreasing waiting lists by over 70,000 people, now standing at 38,802, compared to 109,470 in 2018. In terms of employment, unemployment lists in Huelva have been reduced by 42%, with over 21,000 people moving out of unemployment. In 2018, there were 50,280 unemployed individuals in the province, a figure that has now dropped to 29,009.
Housing policy has also seen a significant change. While 4,412 protected homes were built in Andalusia between 2012-2018, 15,755 have been constructed between 2019-2025, which is more than triple the number of homes for Andalusian families.
In summary, an unprecedented commitment to public services has been made across the eight Andalusian provinces, with the aim of defending and strengthening public services, which is of vital importance to the region's citizens.
