The city of Granada is preparing to celebrate Noche en Blanco 2026 on April 24, a day that will transform its streets and emblematic spaces into stages for culture, science, and leisure for all audiences.

This established annual event will offer an uninterrupted program ranging from live music concerts and dance performances to scenic proposals, scientific dissemination, and urban routes. The initiative aims to boost the cultural and commercial life of the Andalusian capital, with high citizen participation.
The city center will be one of the epicenters of activity. The Plaza de las Pasiegas will host concerts by the Municipal Band and dance and tango shows, while the Plaza de la Universidad will resonate with choirs and chamber music. The Patio del Ayuntamiento and Placeta de Cauchiles will join in with choral performances and jazz and blues proposals.
The Paseo del Salón will start the day with workshops and rescue demonstrations by Firefighters and Civil Protection, including a vehicle exhibition. In the afternoon, the space will be filled with sports exhibitions and participatory circuits. In the vicinity of Plaza Nueva, the Local Police will offer informative activities, such as canine unit exhibitions and drone flights, along with storytelling and oral narration that will extend to the Albaicín and Paseo de los Tristes.
The Albaicín and its viewpoints will be another of the main stages, with night routes from the Mirador de San Nicolás, guided visits to places like the Carmen de los Mártires, and gastronomic experiences. Cultural and heritage spaces will open their doors with special programs: the Museo Casa de los Tiros will host a concert by the Trío Darash, the Museo Arqueológico will propose a family enigma activity, and the Museo de Bellas Artes de Granada, in the Palacio de Carlos V, will offer a concert by Popi González. The Biblioteca de Andalucía will also have cultural proposals with limited capacity.
In addition, emblematic monuments such as the Cathedral, the Capilla Real, and the Casa Museo Manuel de Falla will offer free visits. The Cathedral will provide the opportunity to hear its historic 18th-century organ, recently restored. The program also includes activities for families, such as the Giant Game of Emotions in the Plaza de la Mariana and the musical story The Little Prince at the Colegio Ave María, with a charitable nature.
Science will have its space at the Parque de las Ciencias, with proposals aimed at young people. This day coincides with the 44th Granada Book Fair, which will take place in the Fuente de las Batallas and Carrera de la Virgen, adding a cultural boost with presentations, book signings, round tables, and activities. The Noche en Blanco will be completed with craft markets in the Paseo de los Tristes, Plaza de la Romanilla, and Plaza Isabel la Católica, a fashion show in the Plaza de la Trinidad, and commercial routes with influencers to boost economic activity.

"The great reception that the Noche en Blanco receives every year demonstrates the importance of continuing to promote an open and accessible culture, in which citizens are protagonists, something that is part of the path the city is taking towards 2031."

Marifrán Carazo · Mayor of Granada

"I encourage citizens to participate and enjoy local talent on a day that invites them to experience Granada with the intensity that only culture can transmit."

David Rodríguez · Delegate of Tourism, Culture and Sport
Both the mayor of Granada, Marifrán Carazo, and the delegate of Tourism, Culture and Sport, David Rodríguez, have encouraged locals and visitors to participate in this event, highlighting the importance of culture in the city's identity and local talent.
