The individual, who was already free after serving a previous sentence for property crimes, is the alleged perpetrator of at least three thefts that occurred in the town of Baza. The incidents took place during the night, targeting vehicles parked on public roads.
The first incident was reported in mid-February. The thief broke the rear right window of a car, making off with a bag containing 150 hunting cartridges and a wrench. Shortly after, another vehicle had its front right window smashed, from which glasses, a tape measure, wireless headphones, a tubular scarf, and a set of car keys were stolen.
The third theft, also on a street in Baza, began with the smashing of the rear right window of a third car. On this occasion, the loot included prescription glasses valued at 130 euros and a mobile phone charger with a car lighter adapter.
The thorough investigation carried out by National Police agents led to the identification and arrest of the suspect. Following his apprehension, the man has been placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities to face charges.
