The fire started at 6:30 PM near residential areas located on the upper slope of the ravine. This incident marks the fifth fire recorded in this area over the past week, a region spanning the borders between Granada, Pulianas, and Jun.
To combat the blaze, the Infoca Plan has mobilized three semi-heavy helicopters and a team of 23 forest firefighters working on the ground to contain the flames.
The frequency of fires in this area has been significant over the last seven days, including previous outbreaks detected near the Granaita Commercial Park and in the vicinity of the Granada CF Sports City.
