“"This project is born precisely from this conviction: culture generates new opportunities and unites people. For young people to connect with art, creativity, and innovation is one of the great objectives. Granada is talent and culture and has young people who are making a strong impact in different fields and who will demonstrate it these days."

Her Majesty Queen Letizia will preside over the Princesa de Girona CongresFest in Granada on April 29, a central event of the Talent Tour aimed at fostering art and creativity among young people.
The city of Granada is preparing to host the Talent Tour, an initiative by the Princesa de Girona Foundation, scheduled from April 21 to April 30. As part of this program, the Princesa de Girona CongresFest will take place on April 29, a prominent event featuring the presence of Queen Letizia.
The Talent Tour, co-organized by the Granada City Council and the Granada European Capital of Culture 2031 consortium, aims to transform the city into a hub for young talent. Organizers have emphasized that the program will offer a broad and multidisciplinary agenda, with art and culture as its core pillars.
The CongresFest, to be held at the Manuel de Falla Auditorium, will include interviews, presentations, reflection sessions, and live performances. One of the most anticipated moments will be the announcement of the winner of the Princesa de Girona Art Award 2026, a recognition endowed with 20,000 euros for young creators making a positive social impact.
Among the finalists for this prestigious award are the tenor from San Sebastián, Xabier Anduaga Martínez; the Barcelona-based director and screenwriter, Gemma Blasco; the Canary Islands singer and songwriter, Valeria Castro Rodríguez; the Madrid documentary photographer and journalist, César Dezfuli Rello; and the Seville pianist, Juan Floristán. All will present their projects to a jury of art experts on the day of the event.
