The PSOE of Granada has celebrated the appointment of Martina López, from Castril, as the new spokesperson and secretary of Institutional Policy for Spanish Socialist Youth (JSE). The proclamation took place during the organization's 27th Federal Congress.
The general secretary of the PSOE of Granada, Pedro Fernández, emphasized that this designation is a "recognition of López's commitment, capacity, and work" within the youth organization, as well as the role of Socialist Youth of Granada at the provincial level.
Martina López, 20 years old, is a student of Political Science and Law. In addition to her new federal role, she is the vice-president of the Provincial Council of Youth of Granada and president of the university association Revoluciona(t).
Fernández described the appointment as "magnificent news for the province," as it "reinforces Granada's presence in the federal bodies of JSA" and demonstrates that "the talent, preparation, and dedication of youth are making their way into positions of political responsibility."
The general secretary of JSA Granada, Jorge Ibáñez, also congratulated López, highlighting her involvement in the provincial executive's University area and her work in "gathering and conveying the demands of the entire university community."
