La Plazuela's concert in Granada is more than just another stop on their tour; it's a significant event representing a return to their roots. The musical project, which has transcended borders, has become one of the most robust proposals in the current Spanish music scene.
Composed of Manuel Hidalgo Sierra, known as “El Indio,” and Luis Abril Martín, “El Nitro,” the duo has forged a distinctive style that fuses flamenco, funk, pop, and electronic music. Their album Lugar Nº0 (D.L.Y.) has earned them national recognition, notably at the 2024 Spanish Music Academy Awards, where they won accolades in categories such as best alternative and electronic music album.
“"Seeing La Plazuela in Granada always feels different. It's not just another concert, nor an ordinary tour stop. It's a return to the origin, to the city where a project was born that has broken boundaries and become one of the most solid names in the new Spanish music scene."
This event is part of a tour that takes them to major venues across the country, including cities like Barcelona and Madrid. However, the performance in Granada holds special significance, being in their hometown and enjoying the support of an audience that has followed their journey from the very beginning.
The concert is supported by Cervezas Alhambra, which has partnered with the group since 2025 on various local music and cultural initiatives. This collaboration is now strengthened by their involvement in three of the most important concerts of the 2026 tour, as part of the Momentos Alhambra series, which aims to offer unique musical experiences.
