This intensive three-day program is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and professionals to experience firsthand the process of creating a startup. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas, form multidisciplinary teams, develop prototypes, and receive feedback from expert mentors.
Unlike other formats, Startup Weekend focuses on practical and collaborative learning. It is not about attending lectures, but about building a real project in a dynamic environment. Attendees typically include young people aged 18 to 30, university students, recent graduates, designers, and programmers, with no prior experience or preconceived ideas required.
The organization of the event in Granada is led by a local team deeply connected to the city's business and technological ecosystem. Among the organizers are Fran Cortés, CEO of Firmafy; Ángel Squembri, CEO of Squembri; Ángela Labrador, CMO of Grupo2000; Pedro García Manzano, co-founder of SegurosTech; Adrián Crovetto, CEO of Segurnube Zero Risk Correduría de Seguros S.L; Salvador Moret, manager at Qua Consultores; and Encarna Sánchez, commercial manager in Andalucía for Caramelos Cerdán.
