The regional minister of the Junta de Andalucía, Rocío Díaz, and the mayor of Granada, Marifrán Carazo, visited the VIII Granada Artisan Trades Fair, emphasizing the value of a tradition passed down through generations. This sector is an economic pillar in Andalusia, supporting approximately 7,000 businesses and creating 20,000 jobs.

The fair, which will remain open until next Sunday, April 19, features 28 stalls reflecting the diversity of the region's crafts. From ceramics, marquetry, and leather goods to textiles and Nasrid plasterwork, the exhibition also includes new proposals that offer fresh perspectives and enrich the overall collection. This event provides a unique opportunity to discover Granada's significant artisan fabric, which includes 115 registered artisans, 14 master artisans, three Artisan Interest Points, and an Artisan Interest Zone comprising eleven workshops.
During her visit, Rocío Díaz was accompanied by Mayor Marifrán Carazo and the delegate of the Government of the Junta de Andalucía in Granada, Antonio Granados, highlighting institutional support for this cultural and economic initiative.
