These new judges will act as substitutes and bolster judicial work in various parts of the province for a period of five months, which can be extended. In total, Andalusia will receive 28 trainee judges, with six of them assigned to Granada.
The assignment of these judges falls to the President of the High Court of Justice of Andalusia, Ceuta, and Melilla, who designates them to courts where titular judges are absent or where additional support is needed. Substitution and reinforcement duties are prioritized in the criminal and civil jurisdictions.
The specific assignments within Granada province for these trainee judges include positions in the Minors Section, the Civil Section, the Violence Against Women Section, and the Criminal Section of the Court of Instance of Granada, as well as in the Civil and Instruction Sections of the Courts of Instance in Almuñécar and Loja.
