With the end of the school year, Granada is preparing to offer a variety of options aimed at occupying minors' free time during the summer months, thereby facilitating work-life balance for families.
The University of Granada (UGR) stands out with its sports offerings, including the Inclusive Multidisciplinary Campus in the morning, the Day Nautical Campus at the Cubillas Reservoir with activities like windsurfing and kayaking, and specific futsal, handball, tennis, and rugby camps.
The cultural offerings are complemented by workshops and camps at museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts and the Casa de los Tiros, where children will explore artistic techniques and learn about the collections. The Science Park also repeats its 'Summer with Science' program for children aged 5 to 12.
For those seeking to maintain classroom routines, several educational centers in the capital offer summer schools with morning care, dining options, and sports activities and workshops, extending the educational experience in a playful environment.
The program extends to young people with GranadaJoven's 'Planazos pa’ to’ Quisqui' plan, which includes 1,100 spots for adventure, sports, culture, and educational leisure activities aimed at individuals aged 14 to 30. Some of these activities are free, while others have a nominal cost.
Among the youth activities are astronomical observations, zip-line parks, escape rooms, nature weekends, kayaking, snorkeling, multi-adventure at Cubillas, rafting, urban and nocturnal routes, hiking, creative workshops, and sports tournaments, in addition to diving baptisms and via ferratas.
