Following the significant seismic series that has affected several municipalities in the metropolitan area of Granada in recent weeks, the focus is now on the impact on tourism and investment. To mitigate these effects, various institutions and entrepreneurs have joined forces to launch a national and international campaign.
The initiative, with an initial budget of 300,000 euros, primarily targets Europe, the United States, and Asia. The campaign aims to shift the perception from a city shaken by earthquakes to one of a Granada that is functioning normally and remains a safe destination for study, investment, and tourism.
Images of frightened residents and damaged facades have circulated throughout the country, but the current objective is to project an image of resilience and continuity. Alongside the repair of material damage, the initiative seeks to enhance the province's image and its appeal to visitors and investors.

This campaign complements other local efforts, such as the demand from residents of Zaidín for a Special Reform Plan following the earthquakes, highlighting the need to address both physical damage and public perception of the area.
