Granada's Triunfo Gardens served as the backdrop for a unique fashion show, where creativity and sustainability converged. The event featured student creations, resulting from 'upcycling' workshops—a technique that revitalizes existing garments and materials through design, giving them a new lease on life.
This initiative is a collaboration between the University of Granada and the Val del Omar School of Art and Design (EASD), supported by Renault/Japemasa. It is part of the III Granada Sustainable Fashion Week – RE:MODA 2026, a program that promotes innovation, environmental responsibility, and experimentation in the fashion sector.
The fashion show took place with the imposing Royal Hospital as its backdrop, an emblematic city landmark that symbolizes Granada's connection to two key aspirations: its bid to become the European Capital of Culture in 2031 and the commemoration of the V Centenary of the University of Granada.
