During the Corpus festivities, the Granada City Hall solidifies its role as a hub for daytime and early evening celebrations with the 'El Patio del Corpus' initiative. This municipal space hosts a diverse program including exhibitions, traditional craft workshops, musical performances, flamenco shows, and displays of work from municipal civic centers, offering a cultural alternative in the heart of the city.

Until next Saturday, June 6th, visitors can enjoy the exhibition 'Un patio de películas en el Corpus' (A Courtyard of Films at Corpus), a collection of film posters loaned by Francisco Jiménez Rodríguez from the Museo de la Copla in Cájar. In parallel, pieces of classic and contemporary marquetry, restored furniture, paintings, and various crafts created in the municipal civic centers' workshops are on display.

Exhibition hours are from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 18:00 to 21:30, with adjustments on Wednesdays and Thursdays due to the procession of La Tarasca and the Corpus procession.

The offerings are complemented by open workshops for the public, teaching techniques such as bobbin lace, natural cosmetics, and creative costume jewelry, available several days a week in the morning and afternoon.

The musical program features performances by rociero choirs such as 'Las Niñas', 'Sueño Rociero de La Chana', 'Quinta y Tamboril', 'Rociero de Díezma', and 'Jaleo', as well as castanet groups and flamenco shows by 'Flamenco y Salud' and the 'Escuela de Flamenco Fanitas'. Dance groups from the Cervantes Neighborhood Association and 'Pasión Flamenca' will also perform.

'El Patio del Corpus' reaffirms the City Council's commitment to revitalizing the historic center during the festivities, turning the town hall into a meeting point to enjoy Granada's culture and popular traditions.
