Granada's cultural agenda for the coming days promises to be intense and varied, marked by the arrival of the emblematic Cruces de Mayo. This celebration transforms streets and squares into festive settings, brimming with color and music, emphasizing the region's popular culture.
In addition to the crosses, the beginning of May brings a diverse program ranging from flamenco and dance to significant literary events. The Granada Book Fair, running until May 3rd, is a cornerstone of this offering, featuring stalls, presentations, and author signings that promote reading and cultural exchange.
Among the most notable performances is Flamenco - Oniria, a contemporary proposal that merges tradition and avant-garde at the Isabel la Católica Theater. Furthermore, the Palacio de Congresos will host a performance by La Carroza del Teatro Real, featuring young talents from the Crescendo program. Dance will also have its place with Granada Baila - 6º Encuentro Juan Pérez, bringing together various schools and artists at the Isabel la Católica Theater over several days.
“"Granada's May program is a commitment to cultural diversity, offering options for all tastes and ages, from the most deeply rooted celebrations to innovative artistic proposals."
