The traditional parade of La Tarasca, one of the most anticipated moments of Granada's main festival week, will kick off Corpus Christi Wednesday. The iconic figure will debut a new dress and parade through the streets, capturing the attention of locals and visitors.

The musical day will begin in the morning with the Municipal Music Band in the Plaza del Carmen. Later, at 12:00 PM, the awaited La Tarasca parade will commence, making it the subject of conversations and photographs.

The Children's Corpus in Plaza Bib-Rambla will offer activities and the puppet show Peneque, el sueño de los títeres (Peneque, the dream of the puppets), a classic event for many Granadan children.

In the afternoon, starting at 6:00 PM, the Corpus Altars Exhibition will be open along the procession route, showcasing the work of brotherhoods and residents. The City Hall Courtyard will host exhibitions, workshops, and flamenco performances by the Coro La Quinta y Tamboril.

The cultural offerings are complemented by the play Pijama para seis (Pajamas for Six) at the Isabel la Católica Theatre and the performance of Juan de Dios y Antón Martín at the Corral del Carbón.

The evening will culminate with a performance by the renowned singer Rosa López at the Institutional Booth in the fairgrounds, followed by the Orquesta Vintash, marking the midpoint of the festivities.
