Granada's cultural agenda this week offers a diverse range of events, from live music to theater and comedy. These activities will take place in multiple locations, including halls, theaters, and open-air spaces in both the capital and the province, promising options for all tastes and ages.
Among the most prominent events is the Sun and Snow Festival, scheduled for the weekend of April 17-19 in Sierra Nevada. Concurrently, the Festival Música de los Mundos will enliven Santa Fe, and the play Universo Cádi will be presented at the Palacio de Congresos. Additionally, the program includes an extensive list of concerts and cultural activities that will run throughout the week.
On Thursday, April 16, the Teatro Isabel la Católica will host Las mujeres sabias de Molière. On Friday, April 17, in addition to the start of the Sun and Snow Festival, attendees can enjoy a tribute concert to Carlos Cano at the Teatro Isabel la Católica and performances by Tanxugueiras and José Bonaparte at the Festival Música de los Mundos in Santa Fe.
On Saturday, April 18, the Sun and Snow Festival will continue in Sierra Nevada, while the Festival Música de los Mundos will feature Nia and Paulina del Carmen. On Sunday, April 19, the Sun and Snow Festival will conclude, and the Festival Música de los Mundos will host performances by El Jose and La Quinta Sonera. On the same day, the play Universo Cádi will be staged at the Palacio de Congresos.
The week will also feature activities such as the Book Fair Exhibition at the Auditorio Caja Rural de Granada, which will run until Wednesday, April 22. On Wednesday, April 22, the Teatro Isabel la Católica will host the inauguration of the Festival Play Granada, and the Teatro Alhambra will present the circus show El Círculo.
