Neorama will expand its program across more than fifteen historical spaces, highlighting Granada's potential as a candidate for European Capital of Culture 2031.
Music will echo in unique locations such as the Generalife Theatre, hosting the opening with the JM World Orchestra and the Granada Opera Choir, and the closing with the inclusive concert SuperArte alongside the Young Symphony Orchestra of Granada. The heart of the Alhambra will be the stage for multiple activities in the Palace of Charles V, the Plaza de los Aljibes, and the Templete de las Estrellas.
The Palace of Charles V, the Manuel de Falla Auditorium, and the Casa Zayas will host debates, workshops, and roundtables on topics including equality, inclusion, artificial intelligence, and education. The Plaza de los Aljibes will give a voice to proposals from artists from the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, Galicia, and Melilla, while the Templete de las Estrellas will serve as a discovery point for emerging talents.
The Palace of the Córdovas, a historic noble residence, will be the setting for the official welcome, the concert Variación a Tempo, and the talk Culture that Transforms. In the historic center, the Corral del Carbón will open its courtyard for a concert by the Quinteto Sonnenaufgang (Andalusia). The gardens of Los Mártires and the Torres Bermejas will highlight the lyrical and instrumental talent of artists from Madrid and Andalusia, with Naked Eva (Castilla y León) also performing.
The Carmen de los Porcel, an example of domestic Granada architecture in the Albaicín, will host concerts by artists from Galicia, Andalusia (Maconchy Project, Mühlfeld Ensemble), Ceuta, and Murcia. The Patio de Venus of the Rodríguez-Acosta Foundation will offer an ideal setting for the chamber proposal Echoes of London.
The central Plaza de las Pasiegas, at the gates of the Cathedral, will feature large-format performances by artists from Melilla, the Basque Country, the Valencian Community (with over 100 musicians), the Balearic Islands, and Catalonia. The City Hall Courtyard will host concerts and the festival's awards ceremony on Saturday the 5th.
The festival will extend to the province with performances at the Calderón de la Barca Theatre in Motril and the Parish Church of Our Lady of Peace in Paulenca (Guadix). The Granada Congress Palace will also support large audiences and host performances.
All activities and concerts are free admission until full capacity. Given the nature of the heritage sites, advance booking of tickets is required to ensure an optimal and safe experience.
