This year's program integrates diverse artistic disciplines, including cinema, live music, photography, and literature. The neighborhood's heritage spaces, such as its caves and viewpoints, will serve as venues for the activities, aiming to foster dialogue between cultures and citizen participation.
The event kicks off on August 24 with a contemplative listening session of the album Omega at the Mirador del Museo Cuevas del Sacromonte. Meanwhile, cinema will play a leading role with the screening of feature films and a selection of international short films competing in the festival.
The musical offering will include performances at various points in the neighborhood and the so-called 'Sound Refuges', intimate gatherings at the Aljibe del Jardín del Hamman. Furthermore, the festival includes educational activities such as birdwatching walks and visits to the Fajalauza Factory, extending its impact to educational centers and social groups in the city.
