The arrest occurred after one of the victims reported the disappearance of various jewelry items and expressed suspicions about the domestic helper. The affected individual stated that no other person had accessed her property since she last saw the pieces, valued at 1,400 euros.
Subsequent investigations revealed that the detainee had made multiple sales of jewelry at gold buying and selling establishments in Granada. After comparing the sold pieces with those described in the complaint, agents confirmed that several matched perfectly. The victim recognized the jewelry without hesitation upon seeing images.

During the investigation process, Civil Guard officers identified a second victim, who was also a user of the domestic assistance service and had been attended by the same employee. In this case, the woman managed to recognize a chain and a cross belonging to her among the sold pieces, which were recovered before being melted down. The investigation remains open to determine if there are more affected individuals and if the rest of the sold jewelry came from other homes where the woman had worked.
