Club Cámara Granada has marked its fifteenth anniversary by bringing together over 1,300 attendees at its summer gala, consolidating its position with 600 associated companies and reaffirming the role of the business fabric in the province's development.

The business organization Club Cámara Granada recently held its summer gala, marking its 15th anniversary. The event, hosted at the Paseíllos Universitarios, gathered more than 1,300 attendees and highlighted the growth of the network, which currently includes over 600 Granadian companies, establishing it as the primary business collective in the province of Granada.
The celebration served as a platform to emphasize the importance of the business sector in the present and future of Granada. The need for collaboration among companies, institutions, and the University of Granada to address regional challenges was underscored.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Granada, Gerardo Cuerva, recalled the origins of Club Cámara in 2011, established in response to the elimination of funding channels for chambers of commerce. What began as an initiative to ensure institutional continuity has transformed into a leading organization with over 600 companies from all economic sectors.
Cuerva stressed that Club Cámara has become a pillar for driving economic development projects and strengthening the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce. Addressing institutional representatives such as the mayor of Granada, Marifrán Carazo; the rector of the University of Granada, Pedro Mercado; and the delegate of the Junta in Granada, Antonio Granados, the president advocated for strong companies as essential for progress and the generation of employment and wealth in the province.
Furthermore, he offered the collaboration of Granadian entrepreneurs for participation in strategic future projects for Granada. The gala, held alongside the University of Granada, also looked towards the V Centenary of the University in 2031 and the potential European Capital of Culture designation, pledging the support of companies for the success of these initiatives.

"You can count on the companies of Club Cámara and all the companies of Granada for these projects to be a success; for Granada to shine."

The gala, hosted by journalist Ana Martín, included a review of the history of the Encuentros Cámara with videos from past participants such as Víctor Küppers, Salva Reina, Santi Rodríguez, José Corbacho, Estrella Morente, Antonio Carmona, José Manuel Zapata, Manuel España, Fernando Díaz de la Guardia, and Fran Viñuela. The event concluded with a concert by Coque Malla, underscoring the organization's growth and influence.
