The Teacher Training Center (CEP) in Granada hosted the Final Meetings of this network, bringing together 220 attendees, including coordinators from the affiliated centers. This event complements others held in areas such as Motril, Baza, and Guadix, highlighting the significant increase in network membership across the province.
During the 2025-2026 academic year, the network has grown to include 291 affiliated centers, up from 270 the previous year. These figures underscore the dedication of the educational community in Granada to establishing an environment of harmony and respect within schools.
The event, organized by the Coexistence and Equality Cabinet of the Territorial Delegation of Education, featured presentations from the Emotional Well-being Cabinet and the CEP Advisory Board. Several educational centers shared their successful experiences in mediation, dialogue, and respect, demonstrating the effectiveness of these practices.
“"It is possible to transform realities through mediation, dialogue, and respect."
Centers were reminded that the deadline to apply for recognition of this initiative, via the Séneca Information System, is open annually between May 10th and 30th. Applications are evaluated based on reports from the Educational Inspection Service, the CEP, and the Coexistence Cabinet, considering community involvement, project innovation, and the integration of a gender perspective.
The Territorial Delegation has urged centers to continue collaborating, sharing resources and experiences, and has expressed gratitude for the efforts of management teams, teachers, and families in making schools true spaces of peace.
