The candidacy is led by a well-known trade unionist and current provincial spokesperson for a trade union organization, who is also a university professor and doctoral candidate. This figure takes on the leadership of a list that prioritizes the defense of social and labor rights.
Further down the list, the candidates include a councilor from Guadix with experience in environmental management, an administrative worker and public health activist in the Costa Tropical, an employee of a ski resort management company, and a Law and Political Science student from Baza. The list is concluded by a former regional deputy of the party, contributing her parliamentary experience to the project.
“"This is a list that blends institutional experience, people from social and trade union movements from different regions, and youth."
During the presentation, the lead candidate highlighted the diversity of the slate. She also underscored Adelante Andalucía's commitment to continue bringing the province's issues to the Andalusian Parliament, such as the struggle of early care mothers in San Rafael, opposition to large photovoltaic projects like the one in El Fargue, educational cuts, and the demand for railway improvements, including the Guadix-Baza-Almanzora connection.
