Empty theater stage at night in an old castle, with a microphone and scattered chairs.

Three characters, disguised as clowns, infiltrate a theatrical performance at the Castillo de Niebla Festival, taking control of the stage and turning disaster into spectacle.

The play 'Intrusos' (Intruders) bursts onto the XLI Castillo de Niebla Theater and Dance Festival, filling the Plaza Santa María with a proposal that revisits the classic clown trio, pushing it to the extreme of the 'quinqui' style. Three opportunists sneak into a theatrical performance, posing as actors and seizing control of the stage to deliver what they describe as 'the worst theatrical performance ever made'.
Lolo Fernández, one of the performers, states that the characters are "three charlatans, three intruders who decide that anything goes to get by in life." Disaster becomes the engine of the story, where chaos transforms into the true spectacle.
The production is structured around clown archetypes: 'the whiteface', authoritarian and perfectionist; 'the auguste', who dominates the scene with physical comedy and mistakes; and 'the counter-auguste', a mediator and melancholic figure with a philosophical and ironic touch. These characters star in a show designed to be experienced up close, where humor hides subversion and the idea that "losers can also win".
Fernández assures that "making the audience laugh is difficult because it always has a personal threshold, and accessing each person's humor is never easy." The play promises spectators "a great time and a chance to disconnect for a while" with plenty of humor and audience participation, aiming to draw them into a spiral of shared laughter.
The play is directed by Jimena Cavalletti and Miner Montell, with performances by Hilon Hiltoff, Paco Pascual, and Lolo Fernández. The set design is by Carlos Monzón and costumes by Marisa Pascual.
