The Infoca Plan is deploying a combined air and ground effort to control a forest fire that started this afternoon within the municipality of Beas, in the province of Huelva, specifically in the area known as Matearoma.
Infoca's aerial response includes one semi-heavy helicopter and two ground-load aircraft. Ground operations involve two forest firefighter groups, an operations technician, an environmental agent, and a fire engine.
The Huelva Provincial Firefighters Consortium has joined these efforts, contributing six firefighters and three fire engine vehicles. These personnel come from the stations in Valverde del Camino (two firefighters and one vehicle) and San Juan del Puerto (four firefighters and two fire engines).
