The municipality of Trebujena will become a cultural hub this weekend with the celebration of Trebufestival 2026, one of the most anticipated events of the year. This free-entry festival will offer a diverse program including live music, street shows, and various cultural activities spread across the town's squares and stages.
Between April 24 and 26, over 500 artists will participate in the festival, presenting brass bands, batucadas, rock, jazz, and reggae concerts, as well as clown shows, juggling, and painting performances. Additionally, more than a hundred craft and gastronomy stalls will be set up, and there will be activities for children, including circus shows.
One of the most notable features of this edition is the twinning with the community of Extremadura, which will play a special role. This initiative will allow for a tribute to the iconic Extremaduran singer and guitarist Robe Iniesta, who passed away last December. The program will include activities highlighting Extremaduran folklore, with performances by dance groups from Torrejoncillo and Don Benito, gastronomic tastings, and recognition for couples formed by people from Trebujena and Extremadura.
“"We are in contact with the Extremadura Folklore Association to coordinate the participation of different groups from the region."
The Trebufestival 2026 is thus shaping up to be a unique opportunity to enjoy a wide cultural offering and strengthen ties with the Extremaduran community, which will play a central role in this edition.
