The town of Trebujena is in shock following the death of Belén Aranda Nuñez, a 23-year-old young woman who lost her life last Saturday, May 26th, in Dublin, Ireland, after a tragic traffic accident.
The incident, a pedestrian collision that caused injuries to the victim, occurred around midnight. The Irish Police have launched an investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the event and have publicly requested citizen collaboration to gather any relevant data or images from the area at the time of the accident.
The news has caused deep consternation in Trebujena, where Belén was a well-known and appreciated figure. A philologist by profession, the young woman dedicated much of her effort to organizing summer camps and stays in Dublin for the youth of her town, facilitating English learning and cultural discovery.
