The program, starting today, Monday, August 17th, aims to expand the free leisure offerings for residents and visitors, complementing existing summer screenings. The sessions are aimed at all audiences, with a special focus on children.
The series kicks off with 'Lassie' at the Scouts Park and will continue with titles such as 'The Lion King' at the Las Palmeras Boulevard, 'Indiana Jones' at the Children's City, and 'Garfield' in the Andalucía neighborhood.
August screenings also include 'Despicable Me' in the El Palomar neighborhood, 'Kung Fu Panda' in the San Lucas neighborhood, and 'Inside Out 2' in the Escritora Almudena Grandes square in the San Diego neighborhood.
The final week of 'Cine en los Barrios' will begin on August 31st with 'Wish' at the Plaza de la Paz. The last two films, 'One is Not Enough' and 'Wonka', will be shown at the Municipal Theater on September 1st and 3rd, respectively. All sessions will start at 10:00 PM.
As highlighted by the Delegate of Culture, Narciso Vital, this initiative responds to the municipal government's goal of bringing free cultural and family leisure offerings closer to all residents of Sanlúcar.
