The territorial delegate for Environment, Óscar Curtido, and the mayor of Chipiona, Luis Mario Aparcero, visited the repair works on the Los Arriates and Chapitel roads this Monday. These infrastructures, crucial in the Las Tres Piedras area, had suffered significant deterioration due to the passage of storm systems and intense rains recorded at the beginning of the year.

Mayor Luis Mario Aparcero highlighted the importance of these conservation efforts in a heavily frequented area. He noted that the repairs stem from discussions initiated at a technical meeting held in March and praised the climate of institutional loyalty that has expedited the works. He recalled that, as these are regional government-owned routes, regulations prevent conventional asphalt paving, requiring specific progressive improvement interventions.

For his part, delegate Óscar Curtido reaffirmed the Junta de Andalucía's commitment to ensuring the safety of these access routes for the upcoming summer season, a period of intensive use by both residents and visitors. Curtido contextualized this intervention within a global budget allocation exceeding 14.2 million euros for the entire province of Cádiz, emphasizing the Andalusian government's dedication to the recovery and maintenance of rural and strategic communication networks.
