The Orfeón Santa Cecilia, conducted by José Manuel Núñez, will present a musical performance on Thursday, August 6th, at 9:00 PM in the Gardens of the Municipal Palace in Sanlúcar. Admission is free until full capacity.
The repertoire will include tributes to renowned artists and groups such as Nino Bravo, Joan Manuel Serrat, Abba, Mocedades, Il Divo, and Édith Piaf, in a journey through national and international hits.
Founded in the 1930s and becoming a mixed choir in 1943, the group continues to actively promote choral music.

Narciso Vital, the Delegate of Culture, presented the event alongside Consuelo García, the Orfeón's president, and María Antonia Pérez and Pepi Ibáñez, secretary and treasurer. Vital highlighted the heritage and artistic value of the group and thanked them for their efforts in keeping the choral tradition alive in Sanlúcar. He also emphasized the importance of bringing culture to all audiences with free, quality events, aligning with the goals of Mayor Carmen Álvarez's administration.
The concert is expected to transform the Municipal Palace gardens into a meeting point for music lovers, offering a family-friendly evening with some of the most cherished songs in musical history.
