The club Rayo Sanluqueño unveiled its new kits for the 2026/2027 season at an event held at Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Carmen Álvarez and the Delegate for Sports, David González.
This event marks the start of a new campaign for Rayo Sanluqueño, which recently achieved promotion to División de Honor. During the presentation, the kits to be worn by the teams were showcased, along with the club's year-round work and the dedication of its board, technical staff, players, fans, and sponsors, including the City Council.
Mayor Carmen Álvarez expressed her delight with the new kits and her pride in the establishment of a women's section. "As mayor and as a woman, I am filled with pride that Rayo has also decided to promote women's football. I believe this decision will make it even greater," she stated.
Álvarez extended her best wishes to the club for the new season, noting that the City Council has celebrated their successes for the past two seasons and hopes to continue doing so for many years to come. She also highlighted the significant role of Rayo Sanluqueño in fostering the growth of its youth academy, emphasizing its contribution to grassroots sports as a school for values, coexistence, training, and healthy living.
