The incident occurred on Friday afternoon, around 4:00 PM, on the Carretera de La Celulosa in Motril. The workers, aged 47 and 46, were hit in the head by a beam, as reported by sources from the 112 Andalucía Emergency Service.

After receiving an alert from the injured workers' colleagues, the coordinating center promptly dispatched medical services, along with the National and Local Police, to the scene to address the emergency.

Both workers were transported to Santa Ana Hospital in the coastal city for medical attention. Additionally, the incident was reported to the Occupational Risk Prevention center for further investigation.
