The Department of Districts of the Motril City Council, represented by Councilor Susana Peña, along with Isabel Lorenzo, president of the Santa Adela Neighbors Association, have announced the details of the celebrations. The program is designed for the enjoyment of all residents and visitors, establishing itself as a special event in the late summer festive calendar.
The festivities will commence on Thursday, August 27, with Children's Day, featuring special prices on attractions and a municipal orchestra. On Friday, August 28, the sports center will host a children's futsal championship, followed by the lighting ceremony and a popular open-air dance.
On Saturday, August 29, the traditional Rentoy Championship will be held, accompanied by a night of music. The celebrations will conclude on Sunday, August 30, with a large foam party and performances by the groups Menea-T, Dance Tropical Beach, and Campanilla Dance.
Isabel Lorenzo highlighted the enthusiasm and care with which the association prepares these festivities, inviting everyone to discover the neighborhood and enjoy its joy. Susana Peña encouraged all residents of Motril to attend and share these days of gathering and fun.
