The Moving Jazz festival has begun in Motril, presenting the first major international and free jazz festival on the Costa Tropical. The event promises an enriching cultural experience for attendees.
The main program includes five concerts of avant-garde jazz and afrobeat, a musical genre originating from Nigeria created in the 70s by Fela Kuti and Tony Allen, which fuses Yoruba music, jazz, funk, and highlife, along with groove.
Complementing the concerts, a parallel program will unfold with artistic proposals that combine music, poetry, theater, and performance. These activities will start at 8:00 PM, serving as a prelude to the main concerts, which will begin at 10:00 PM.
The Parque de los Pueblos de América will be transformed into a dynamic space for creation, gathering, and cultural enjoyment during the festival days.
