Driven by the Albuñol City Council and managed by entities such as El Batracio Amarillo and Secretos de Granada, the fair's main objective is to promote reading, foster culture in rural areas, and create spaces for dialogue and creativity. For three days, Albuñol will transform into a cultural hub bringing together authors, publishers, educational centers, cultural associations, and visitors.

The program is diverse and designed for all audiences, including book presentations, signings, literary encounters, creative workshops, children's activities, storytelling, cultural and musical performances, as well as thematic exhibitions. Invited authors include renowned figures such as Juan Madrid, a reference in Spanish crime fiction; Ángeles Mora, a prominent contemporary poet; May R. Ayamonte, a relevant author in young adult literature; and Andrés Cárdenas, with an extensive cultural career.

The event also supports local and provincial talent, giving visibility to emerging authors. The inaugural act will feature a proclamation by cartoonist Ángel Idígoras, and the official poster has been designed by Pachi Idígoras. Additionally, exhibitions such as 'Fronteras de guerra' by photographer Felipe Passolas, and "Mujeres por la Alpujarra" will be presented, addressing social and cultural issues from an artistic perspective.

The educational dimension is fundamental, with initiatives such as literary contests, visits to educational centers, and preliminary activities that seek to encourage interest in reading from an early age. As a novelty, this edition will include the publication of a commemorative book that will compile texts by foreign authors about the Alpujarra, reinforcing the international projection of the region.
