The Mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, who is also the head of Citizen Security, has highlighted the work of the Local Police and the Civil Guard in the town. The latest reports on interventions by the Local Police in recent weeks have been reviewed.
Among the actions, numerous people on public roads were attended to for health issues. Arrests were also made for disturbing the peace, serious disobedience, and domestic violence. A notable arrest related to VioGén occurred at a hotel, where an individual barricaded themselves with a bladed weapon, holding minors.
The Local Police have also issued infraction reports to public establishments for non-compliance with the Municipal Ordinance, as well as for cleanliness issues and for dogs off-leash. Reports have been filed for crimes against Road Safety, including cases of drunk driving.
Finally, it was reported that electric scooters and Personal Mobility Vehicles (PMVs) were impounded and sanctioned for not meeting homologation standards.
