The Guardia Civil has confirmed the identification of the man and woman who went viral on social media on June 20. Another motorist filmed the incident, showing the woman naked in the driver's seat, obstructing the view of the road, and even leaning her upper body out of the window.
Traffic officers confirmed that the individuals were foreign tourists who had hired the vehicle during their stay in Malaga. Both were identified and charged with reckless driving and not wearing their seatbelts.
The driver paid a fine of €500 and had 6 points deducted from their license. The passenger was fined €200 for reckless driving and disregarding safety measures, according to Spanish law which outlines different consequences for drivers and passengers.
