The city of Torremolinos is preparing for the tenth edition of FreakCon, an international pop culture festival that will feature a renowned actor from the series Breaking Bad as its main guest, attracting thousands of fans.

The Palacio de Congresos de Torremolinos will host the tenth edition of FreakCon, an event that is consolidating its position as one of the most important pop culture gatherings in Spain. This year, the festival will feature the presence of a world-renowned actor, known for his role as Gus Fring in the acclaimed series Breaking Bad, as well as in other productions such as Better Call Saul, The Mandalorian, and The Boys.
The actor will participate in the event on May 24, offering fans the opportunity to get a photograph and an autograph. To do so, attendees must purchase a festival ticket, with prices of 17 euros per day or a 25 euro pass for both days, in addition to booking a photo session for 35 euros and an autograph for an additional 25 euros.

"If we talk about Freakcon, we are not only talking about digital entertainment and GEEK culture. We are not only talking about a community and its passion for pop culture. We are talking about an essential event to understand the creative industry in our province, and a strategic project for tourism."

The X FreakCon extends its program to three days, from May 22 to 24, exceeding 600 hours of content. The festival reinforces its commitment to talent, industry, and global entertainment, establishing itself as a benchmark in southern Europe for lovers of manga, comics, series, and video games.
Among the novelties for this tenth anniversary is the K-Pop Fest, an inaugural day on Friday, May 22, dedicated to Korean pop culture. Furthermore, the event will continue to promote the creative industry and emerging talent with specific spaces for the development of video games, artistic creation, cosplay, illustration, and new audiovisual narratives.
