The renovation of this central space represents one of the most significant urban regeneration projects in the municipality. The main goal of the intervention was to transform the site into a more modern, safe, and accessible meeting point for the thousands of residents and tourists who pass through the area daily, known for its intense commercial activity and its connection to the local commuter train station.
The festive program will begin at 7:00 PM in various parts of the city center. In La Nogalera Square itself, children's workshops based on the play A Midsummer Night's Dream have been organized. Subsequently, at 9:00 PM, there will be a musical performance, followed by the official inauguration ceremony at 10:00 PM and a DJ show that will conclude the day.
The rest of the center will also join the celebration. San Miguel Street will feature special decorations, while Andalucía Square will host a market and musical entertainment from 7:00 PM until midnight. Additionally, performances have been scheduled in Pizarro Passage, Cauce Street, and Antonio Girón Street.
Meanwhile, Costa del Sol Square will host various artistic and musical performances starting at 7:00 PM. At the same time, Palma de Mallorca Avenue will host a fashion show and live hairdressing demonstrations between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM, completing a cultural offer that includes itinerant entertainment throughout the city center.
