The local company Socosol has communicated to the Beaches Delegation, headed by councilwoman Gema Zotano, the summary of interventions carried out during the month of June. The report details the assistance provided to bathers and coastal users.
Among the most notable interventions were 10 cases of injuries (cuts, abrasions, splinters), 10 jellyfish stings, and 1 insect sting. There were also 4 cases of general malaise, such as fainting or low blood pressure, and 2 cases of eye and skin irritation.
The lifeguard service also managed 2 activations by 112/061, provided 15 health tips, and carried out 26 preventive actions. A total of 16 assisted swims and 6 rescues were recorded.
