The podium was completed by Miguel Ángel de los Ríos, from the 'Marina Playa' beach restaurant in Rincón de la Victoria, and Miguel León Navarrete, from the 'La Mar Bonita' restaurant in Torremolinos. Espeteros from various parts of the province of Málaga participated in the competition.
The winner received a prize of €1,000 and a trophy, while the second and third place finishers were awarded €500 and €300 respectively, along with trophies.
