The city of Fuengirola is preparing to host a new edition of the 'Clemente Jaime' Senior Tribute Festival, one of the most anticipated events on the local calendar. This gathering, aimed at fostering coexistence and entertainment among seniors, will take place on October 1st at the Juan Gómez ‘Juanito’ pavilion.
The Councilor for Families, Equality, and Social Welfare, Cristina Bornao, detailed that the celebration will commence at 2:00 PM. This annual event serves as a tribute to the municipality's seniors and acts as a festive prelude to the Rosario Fair and Festivals.
Invitations for the event can be collected by interested individuals starting Thursday, September 17th, at the Third Age Area facilities, located on Blanca Paloma street. The collection hours will be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and presentation of a valid Fuengirola retiree card will be mandatory.
The day's program will include lunch, live music, and various entertainment options, all designed to offer an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for attendees. The organization emphasizes the importance of seniors' well-being and the collaboration between different municipal departments for the event's success.
“"For the Third Age Area and the entire City Council, the well-being of our seniors is a priority."
The 'Clemente Jaime' Senior Tribute Festival has established itself as a key activity in the programming leading up to the Fair and Festivals in honor of the Virgen del Rosario, providing a space for meeting and celebration for Fuengirola's senior community.
