The incident occurred this Wednesday in a residential building on Avenida del Boulevar, in Arroyo de la Miel. A neighbor alerted the Andalusian Health Emergency Service 112 around 10:30 AM after hearing a loud noise and cries for help coming from the elevator.
Initial investigations suggest the breakage of one of the elevator's main pulleys as the cause of the accident. Emergency responders, including Local Police and firefighters, arrived at the scene and managed to communicate with the young woman, who was conscious and apparently in good condition.
Firefighters accessed the cabin and performed the necessary maneuvers to move it to the upper floor, freeing the young woman. Despite the dramatic nature of the incident, the affected person was unharmed, although she received attention from medical services for disorientation.
Sources close to the case highlighted that the light load the elevator was carrying at the time and the rapid activation of the safety system were crucial in preventing more serious consequences, describing the incident as a "true miracle."
