The XXX International Countries Fair, an event that attracts thousands of visitors, will be held in Fuengirola from April 29 to May 3. To ensure efficient mobility during these dates, Renfe has organized a special service on its C-1 Commuter line, which connects Málaga with Fuengirola.
The reinforcement plan involves a reduction in train frequency during night hours, from the usual 30 minutes to 20 minutes. Special services from Málaga Centro Alameda towards Fuengirola will start at 9:30 PM, while from Fuengirola towards Málaga they will be available from 10:20 PM. During the morning, trains will maintain their usual frequency of approximately 20 minutes.
In addition to these adjustments, between April 30 and May 3, three extra night trains will be added departing from Los Boliches and heading to Málaga at 2:30 AM, 3:00 AM, and 4:40 AM, aiming to facilitate the return of fair attendees.
The XXX International Countries Fair will feature the participation of 33 nations and will take place at the Coordination Center in the Palacio de la Paz. Admission to the venue will be free, as in previous editions. This year, the booths will operate from 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM. On May 1, the grand parade will be held, starting at 11:30 AM at the Fuengirola Town Hall and featuring representatives from all participating countries.
