The governing team of Marbella will promote an investment of 1,768,000 euros in San Pedro Alcántara to improve public facilities, reinforce road safety, and modernize citizen spaces. These actions will be financed through a budget modification to be presented at the July Plenary session.
Projects include the comprehensive renovation of the playground at Avenida de la Constitución, which will incorporate new shaded areas, and the remodeling of the playground in Calle Fuentenueva. The skatepark on Avenida Luis Braille will also be rehabilitated and adapted.
In terms of mobility, a signalized pedestrian crossing will be built on the A-397 road, in the Bello Horizonte area, to enhance safety and connectivity with the urban center. Additionally, over one million euros will be allocated to supplement the works on the San Pedro Alcántara Municipal Library.
Furthermore, municipal spokesperson Félix Romero reported a reduction in the average payment period to suppliers by 20 days, standing at 48 days compared to 48 days a year ago, reflecting a commitment to rigorous and responsible management of public resources.
