The city of Fuengirola will transform next week, from May 25 to 31, into the epicenter of the fifth edition of Fulanita Fest 2026. The festival will unfold its program between the emblematic Castillo Sohail and the Marenostrum venue, establishing itself as a space for pop music, debate, and creativity with a strong focus on female sovereignty.
The event aims to be a laboratory for resistance and debate, moving away from commercial dynamics to offer a raw and diverse proposal. The program kicks off on Monday, May 25, at the Casa de la Cultura with the collective exhibition «Let’s Fest!!», curated by lesbian, bisexual, and trans creators. On Wednesday, May 27, Miss Beige's performance «Secretos de alcoba» will reflect on consent in public spaces.
On Thursday, May 28, the Puerto Deportivo will host the Showcase of Andalusian Artists, where three bands will compete for a spot at Madrid Pride and a place on the 2027 festival lineup. On Friday, May 29, Castillo Sohail will host a recording of the videopodcast «Está el horno para bollos», featuring personalities such as Nerea Pérez de las Heras, Judith Tiral, Dulceida, Chanel, Violeta, Ptazeta, and Carla Flila. The night will continue with performances by Aiko, Laura Gallego, and DJs.
The main event will take place on Saturday, May 30, at the Marenostrum Fuengirola venue, with performances by Fangoria, Chanel, Natalia Lacunza, Jennifer Cooke, and Violeta. Additionally, actresses Leisha Hailey and Katherine Moennig, stars of «The L World», will be present for a book signing. On Sunday, May 31, the closing will be held at Castillo Sohail with a Brunch Party featuring performances by Maruja Limón, Sofía Cristo, and other artists.
The festival complements its offerings with parallel activities such as women's football, basketball, and volleyball tournaments, an LGTBI+ film cycle, and the monologue «La bollera perfecta» by Pitu Aparicio. The «Fulanita en Familia» space will also be set up on the beach to highlight family diversity.
